Henry G. (Hank) Jackson, CPA

Henry G. (Hank) Jackson is a seasoned executive with a distinguished track record in driving operational excellence, financial growth, and private equity investment strategies. With decades of experience across global organizations, Mr. Jackson brings exceptional leadership in strategic planning, finance, and governance to Transform Holdings Group.

Before joining Transform Holdings, Mr. Jackson served as President and CEO of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)—the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Under his leadership, SHRM underwent significant global expansion and innovation. He spearheaded the development and launch of the organization’s accredited competency-based certifications—SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)—revolutionizing professional standards within the HR field. Within two years, more than 100,000 professionals worldwide earned SHRM certification.

Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Jackson served as CFO/Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer. During his tenure, SHRM membership grew to a record 290,000 members, and the organization expanded its global footprint into the UAE, India, China, and South America. Mr. Jackson also became a prominent thought leader on workplace public policy and a sought-after speaker on global HR trends.

Prior to SHRM, Mr. Jackson held the position of Senior Vice President, CFO, Treasurer-CIO at Howard University in Washington, D.C. There, he oversaw the financial health of the university’s 11 schools and colleges, its pension funds, endowment funds and self-insurance investments totaling nearly $1 billion, where he was instrumental in creating a private equity strategy. His oversight included Howard Hospital, a public television station (WHUT), commercial radio station (WHUR), as well as, the campus physical plant, police department, and all administrative services.

Mr. Jackson began his career in public accounting, serving as a financial auditor and technology specialist with KPMG and Hurdman Main. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and has extensive expertise in technology and financial systems development and implementation.

A respected leader in corporate governance, Mr. Jackson is currently Chairman of the Board of The Myers-Briggs Company. He has held board roles with numerous prestigious organizations, including:

  • Offshore Genesys Insurance Consortium
